Step1:
First apply dots of foundation on the face, blend it well on to the
skin with a sponge. Apply loose powder. Later if needed, contour the
face with a dark foundation. The dark foundation can be used to either
hide or accentuate a feature. For a broad face, apply dark foundation
on the temples, and jaw angle to make it appear narrower. For a double
chin, apply it on the lower chin and on a broad nose, apply it on
the side of the nose for a sharp nose. Remember to blend very well. |
 |
Step2:
Fill in the eyebrows with a grey brown coloured pencil. I then use
dull gold eye shadow on the upper eye lid all the way to the eyebrows. |
 |
Step3:
I then used a black eyeliner to line the eyes all around. |
 |
Step4:
Apply mascara. The mascara brush should be used vertically and horizontally
so that the lashes get a good curl. An eyelash curler, prior to using
mascara does wonders to curl the lashes. |
 |
Step5:
Apply blush on the cheek bones to make the face look a little slimmer
and to accentuate the cheek bones. |
 |
Step6:
I use a lipliner to define the shape of the lips and then a brush
to paint in a a light shade of brownish wine lipstick. A brush to
paint in the lips gives a better consistency. |

Step7:
The Indian bride is not quite complete without the decorative bindi,
tikka and traditional bridal jewellery. |
